Two brothers, one very demanding quality tester

Kindletail started the way a lot of small things do — with a problem we could not solve by shopping. Between us we had spent too much money on pet products that looked good in photographs and fell apart in a week, or arrived with instructions nobody had bothered to translate properly.

So we started picking things ourselves. Carefully, one product at a time.

How we actually work

We are not a marketplace and we are not a middleman. We buy our stock outright from wholesalers and manufacturers, it comes to our place in Satara, Maharashtra, and we check it before it goes anywhere near a customer. When you order, we pack the box ourselves and send it to you.

That is slower and harder than the alternative. It also means that if something is wrong with what you received, there is a person who can actually do something about it, and you already have their phone number.

What we choose, and what we don't

We only stock things we would use on our own pets. Everyday, useful, well-made items — grooming tools, comfort and travel gear, feeding and play essentials. We are deliberately narrow. It is better to have twenty things we can vouch for than two thousand we cannot.

What we do not sell: medicines, supplements, or anything making health claims. We are a pet care shop, not a pharmacy. If your pet is unwell, please see a vet.

Straight dealing

Real photographs. Honest delivery estimates rather than flattering ones. A proper GST invoice with every order. No invented reviews, no fake countdown timers, no "only 2 left" when there are two hundred.

We are at the beginning of this, and we would rather grow slowly with people who trust us than quickly with people who do not.
